Town of Oakville Parking Information

Temporary On-Street Parking Permits are available at the Town of Oakville Offices (1225 Trafalgar Road) for occasions such as: paving or repairs to driveways, home renovations, or for visitor/guest parking when parking requirements temporarily exceed the parking provisions.

Town of Mississauga Parking Information

To get permission to park in excess of the three hour street parking limit, residents can call Mississauga Parking Enforcement at 905-615-4311 Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Residents will be required to provide licence plate numbers of the vehicles which require the exemption. Residents can ask for up to 14 temporary parking considerations in a year.

Town of Milton Parking Information

The Town of Milton does not currently offer permit parking on town streets. The town does give consideration to allow residents to park on the street up to 18 days per calendar year per license plate for parking in excess of five hours. Considerations are granted for overnight guests, driveway repairs or special functions. A parking consideration only exempts the registered vehicle from the three-hour parking by law; all other parking by-law will remain in effect.

City of Burlington Parking Information

Unless signed otherwise, vehicles parked on a street for more than 3-hours are subject to a parking ticket unless permission has been granted by Parking Services prior to the ticket being issued. Contact 905-335-7816

Residents that do not have enough off-street parking available to meet their needs are not exempt from this Parking Limit By-law.

Region of Halton Hills Parking Information

The parking by-law in the Town of Halton Hills limits on-street parking to a maximum of three hours, unless otherwise posted. Overnight parking is not permitted in the winter.

The Town provides special parking considerations which will allow you to exceed the three-hour limit for situations such as driveway repairs, overnight guests and special functions (Limit: 18 parking considerations per vehicle plate per year).

On most local residential streets in new subdivisions, parking is prohibited at all times on one side of the road. This is most often on the side where the fire hydrants are located.

Parking on laneways with a width of 6 metres or less is prohibited at all times on both sides of the road.
